Rogue Events have announced that unfortunately, due to filming commitments, Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries) is now unable to appear at their Insurgence convention. They are also looking at the situation with other cast members and will announce what the plans for the Insurgence convention are next week.
On a happier note, Rogue have also confirmed Aldis Hodge (Jake) is scheduled to attend Asylum 4: Houses of the Holy. Aldis joins Jim Beaver, Alona Tal, Katherine Boecher and Kurt Fuller as their current line up for Asylum 4, with more guests to be announced over the coming months. UK Season 5 air date confirmed

LIVING have officially announced the date for Supernatural Season 5 in the UK. The new season comes to LIVING with a double bill on Wednesday 10th February 2010 at 9pm (and Wednesdays at 9pm thereafter).

Ghostfacers - the web series!

McG's Wonderland shingle and Warner Bros. TV are plotting a spinoff to the CW's long-running spooky drama "Supernatural." But rather than produce it for TV, the new show - "Ghostfacers" - is heading straight for the Internet.
Wonderland has already begun production on the project, which will initially run as 10 three-minute episodes. "Ghostfacers" will preem on TheWB.com and will also appear on the CW's website.

Misha Collins at Rising Con

Misha Collins is the latest guest announced for Spain's first Supernatural convention, 'Rising Con'.
The convention will take place at the Barcelo Sants Hotel, Barcelona, Spain, on the weekend of June 12-13, 2010.
Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Samantha Ferris (Ellen Harvelle), David Robles (the voice behind Sam Winchester), Claudio Serrano (the voice behind Dean Winchester), and the Chevy Impala 1967 are also due to attend the event.

Supernatural Sixth Season Confirmed?

CinemaSpy report that Supernatural has been confirmed for a sixth season. Although The CW has yet to confirm this announcement, industry sources in Vancouver provided the tip, indicating that behind the scenes it is a done deal.
Digital Spy also report that The CW is "close to announcing a sixth season renewal for Supernatural".

Fight the Apocalypse begins!

The first clues are now up for the Living Supernatural ARG, "Fight the Apolalypse", over at LuciferisComing.com.
Enochian Sigils have been hidden online and at real world locations throughout the UK and clues to the Sigil locations will be delivered by Castiel (Misha Collins) in specially filmed sequences on the Fight the Apocalypse website (http://www.Luciferiscoming.com). Once located, Sigils are photographed on any mobile device and are uploaded to the player's profile.
Players can also invite friends to join their online army via email and through Facebook. On the luciferiscoming.com website, Supernatural fans can create their own profile and contact friends to join their army, manage their game playing and collection of Enochian Sigils, as well as view other contestants’ profiles and join forces with other players. For fans who want to play on the move, all core game functions will be available on the mobile site.
Please note - the competition is only open to UK residents.

According to DigiGuide.com, Supernatural Season 5 will air in the UK on February 10th 2010, with 2 episodes "Sympathy for the Devil" (9:00pm GMT) and "Good God Y'All" (10:00pm GMT).

Fight the Apocalypse in the UK!

LIVING is launching one of the UK's most complex alternate reality games (ARG) ever, which will offer one viewer the ultimate Supernatural prize - a chance to appear in the show.
Supernatural season four ended in suspense as Lucifer was freed from hell and on LIVING season five follows Sam and Dean Winchester as they face their toughest battle yet; the apocalypse. To promote the new series, LIVING is creating the Fight the Apocalypse ARG, which calls on Supernatural fans to mobilise their armies and join the fight against Lucifer.
The ARG is based around collecting hidden symbols - 'Enochian Sigils' - which players must locate, photograph and send via MMS to the website www.luciferiscoming.com. One of the first truly cross-platform campaigns of its type, the ARG utilises online, mobile, print and real world elements.
